What’s In My (Work) Makeup Bag

Hi guys,

Today I thought I would do a quick blog post about my “emergency” work make up bag.  It has happened to me a few times now: I’m at work, with no makeup on (of course!), and without warning I get a call to do a quick on camera interview or in person presentation, or the dreaded Instagram photo-op for the company page. I never used to keep an emergency makeup bag at the office because before motherhood, I could usually manage to look like a non-zombie human with a swatch of liploss and some mascara.  But now that we are working with a much more “living dead” canvas, having no makeup tends to look like this monstrosity on camera:

This unfortunate exhibit is from my most recent “Local News Interviews Zombie Lawyer” debacle.  Vowing never to get caught off guard (and on camera sans makeup) again, I decided to pack my bare necessities and go-to faves to keep in my desk at work.
