Bujo with Me: February 2020

Hi friends,

The Never-Ending Month of January is FINALLY over! February is finally here!

For this month’s bullet journal set up, I wanted to try something different than a typical hearts and valentine’s day themed spread.  I don’t know if it is all the Disney+ we have been watching but the idea of romantic pastels and fairytales seemed like a perfect February theme. What could be more romantic than fairytales? (except of course most fairytales in real life are far from romantic but for Disney’s sake let’s pretend).

This month’s spread involved a lot of hand drawing and design elements.  I also decided to continue my mixed media technique and added touches of watercolor washes on denser watercolor paper to make the pastel tones stand out while keeping the pages dry and wrinkle free.

I can honestly say, this month’s theme was the most fun to plan out, research and execute.  I am already calling it, this is probably going to be my most favorite theme/spread this year!
