Bujo with Me: September 2019

Hey guys,

Holy Cow! It’s September already??? Welp Summer is officially over and it is full speed ahead until January!

For us, September is less about the first day of school (though Asher is going to a new classroom tomorrow and I am so emotional) and more about prepping for the High Holidays.  This year Rosh Hashanah is falling at the tail end of the month.  But usually, September has us thinking about apples and honey, two important parts of the Rosh Hashanah table as we pray for a sweet and bountiful new year.

This month I decided to incorporate the apple and honey motif into my spread with bushels of apples and honey bees buzzing around their hives.  For my quote page I opened the month with the Hebrew greeting for Rosh Hashanah, “L’Shana Tovah” which means “good year.”  It’s more than a greeting, its a great mantra and reminder that as things get hectic, always try to do good and have a good year/month/day.

Below are my monthly spreads for September as well as my weekly spread for the first week. Tag me in your recreations on social media and comment below with some of your favorite spread ideas (maybe I’ll incorporate them into future themes!)
